A Quality Antioxidant Face Cream Organic Formula

The problem that most of us face is that finding a quality antioxidant face cream organic skin care formula is next to impossible. Quality natural formulas only make up about 5% of the total number of cosmetics products that are available, and many of these can only be ordered through the manufacturer, and cannot be found in stores. So, what is it that the stores are selling you? You may have noticed that the bulk of cosmetics products readily available are manufactured by the major corporations. These are the companies that have been shortchanging you for years when it comes to the quality of their ingredients. Most of what goes into their products are potentially harmful chemical agents, which should never be allowed on your skin.

You need to avoid the products that these companies are offering you, and choose the more difficult path of tracking down the antioxidant face cream organic skin care formulas that contain all of the natural ingredients that you need. There are some of the all natural formulas that have been proven to have the capability to stimulate the production of your collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin replacement through topical application does not work, but creating new cells within the skin that produce new collagen and elastin does.

This is made possible through the application of a keratin protein blend called Functional Keratin. It was discovered by a company in New Zealand that has also found an extract derived from sea kelp that will deactivate the enzymes that destroy hyaluronic acid. This company's youth restoring antioxidant face cream organic skin care formulas are primarily plant based, but also feature a powerful mixture of enzymes and protein peptides that releases more antioxidants into the skin than any other ingredient found. Cynergy TK, as this mixture is called, will eliminate up to a million free radicals through the use of a single antioxidant molecule. Never before has an antioxidant face cream organic skin care formula packed more effective anti aging ingredients than the one that this company has created. If results are what you seek, then you can't afford to pass these products up.

Shiny Hair is Always in Style

A roughed up cuticle makes hair look dull. Smooth hair cuticles, like the shingles on the roof over your head, work best when they all neatly lie flat. Smooth cuticles are shiny because light reflects off smooth surfaces, and that’s what you want. But dry it, and curl it, and color it, and before you know it, your hair looks dull.

Here are seven steps to shiny hair :

  • Eat Right Your hair is mainly protein, so feed it lots of protein! Eat lean meats, fish, eggs, beans, low fat dairy products make hair healthy, and especially foods that are rich in omega 3 fatty acids salmon, avocados, flaxseed, and almonds. Depending on how bad your hair is now, it can take six months for your new diet to start making your hair shine.

  • Clean Up All those hair products you use from hair spray to mousse add residue to your hair. They'll have to go. Instead, use a clarifying shampoo once a week or add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to 2 tablespoons of your shampoo to remove sticky residue from your hair.
  • Use Conditioner Get a good conditioner and use it every time you shampoo.
  • Blot When you get out of the shower and dry your hair, squeeze and blot it. Never rub! Rubbing creates friction that roughs up the cuticles.
  • Cool Off Before you dry your hair, use a heat resistant product to seal in shine and prevent damage from the dryer's high temperature. Whenever you can, use the cool setting on your dryer.
  • Sleep on Satin Satiny hair needs satiny pillowcases. Look at it this way. When you're asleep your head is about nine pounds of dead weight. (Sometimes it is when you’re awake, too.) Friction from tossing and turning in your sleep creates fuzz. Think those follicles and sleep on satin pillowcases to reduce the friction.

Reducing Sweat Using Home Remedies

There are many glands present in the body. One of them is the sweat gland. The ultimate role of the sweat glands present in our body is to balance the temperature. Whenever you work hard, relocate to a humid place then there is always a possibility a sweating. As soon as the temperature in your body rises, sweat is the method employed to cool it. There are millions of sweat glands present in the palms, hands and soles of the body. Sweat glands follow the instructions of the brain in order to sweat. This is the process which happens for normal sweating. In the case of excessive sweating the brain loses the control over the sweat glands. The instructions are issued by the sympathetic nerve system.

Natural treatments are chosen by most of the people as a cure for reducing sweat. There are medical treatments available too. But most of them provide only temporary relief. Also the costs for performing the treatments are on the higher side. Sweating is good for health. But excessive sweating leads to numerous skin problems. Lemon juice, sliced potato are some of the remedies used for reducing the sweating. The lemon juice when applied on the affected area reduces the body odor as well as sweating. Potato slices are used to dry the sweating parts after every shower. Applying talc powder on the sweating area after drying it with potato slice will minimize sweating. Perfumes and deodorants are the other remedies which are available for this purpose. They minimize the sweat only for a short duration of six or seven hours.

The Truth About A Nutritious Diet

A challenge is something hard to do. Sometimes, experts, in nutrition, divide food into needed groups. We need to plan our meals and choose wisely, from each of the groups. Proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water are needed, in the right amounts, for a balanced diet. Proteins are "building blocks" to our body. The body does not store proteins. So if you are working out, and don't eat protein every day, the growth of your muscles, will be slow. Protein is found in foods such as milk, cheese, lean meats, fish, peas, beans, and peanuts, just to name a few. There are guides available, but I'll get to those in a moment. Carbohydrates gives you energy. The body stores carbohydrates in the form of starch, in the muscles. Each cell, in your body, uses food for fuel.

The body changes carbohydrates to fat, when the storage in our muscles are full. Some foods,we have in our diet, that contains carbohydrates, are fruits, sugar, rice, dried beans, bread, and potatoes. How to eat the proper amount, of these carbohydrates, are noted later. Fats, supply you with energy. However, the body uses them more slowly. The well known foods, that contain fat, are nuts, butter, bacon, and cheese. Fats are needed because they provide certain vitamins and energy, that the body needs. When do you need these? We will tell you.

The chemical regulators, we consume in the form of supplements, or through the food we eat, or vitamins. Minerals, help, not only, the body form stronger bones and teeth, but also regulate the hearts actions, and aids in blood clotting. Knowing what minerals do, because there are so many, can become very confusing. You don't need to know everything, but you do need to know where to go to get the information, that is relevant. Later I will share a great source. Water, is not really, a food, but it should be in one of the food groups. Water forms the basis of blood and your tissue fluids.

It helps keep your body's temperature even. Water is essential, for your daily, nutritious diet. Whenever someone asks me, about trying, any of my products, I always say "water, water, water, is the key, to any product." How much water, do you need, to lose weight? Divide your weight by 2, and that is how many ounces, you need to consume, every day. Remember, there is water , in the foods you eat, and that also counts. Rule of thumb, is 8 to 10 glasses, per day. I use an easy guide, I found, and a lot of people, seem to be using it, in their diet plans. It has a guide for proteins. This guide, gives you a lot of choices, for getting a combination, or all in one, food. Example, the potato, done right, provides a good source of protein. It tells how to eat the proper amounts of carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, and minerals, and you would be surprised to learn where you can find them.

Guide to Choose a Good Skin Care Cream

What if in your dream and look yourself in the mirror to find out that skin on your face is sagging, dry & wrinkled? Don’t panic it’s just a dream you might not realize today but as years go by and we grow old the immunity of our body decreases. Our body naturally starts producing less of required proteins and oils.

Dry Skin, Wrinkles and Sagging Skin are most common issues that people face. Let’s see what the root cause is for each of them.

The outer layer of our skin is called Epidermis and provides a barrier to the external environment. The cells of Epidermis; keratinocytes produce keratin and helps in developing a tough outer shell. These eventually flake out from the outer skin. As we grow old our epidermal cells become thin and less sticky this makes our skin look thinner. Skin also loses its capacity to retain moisture thus leading to a dry skin.

The middle layer of our skin is called Dermis. It consists of various types of connective tissue like collagen, elastin and proteins called glycosaminoglycans giving the skin its strength, elasticity or spring. With time our body produces less collagen and elastin, this causes our skin to lose its strength and elasticity that eventually leads to wrinkles and sagging skin. Now that we have understood what is the root cause for dry skin and wrinkles it will be very easy for us to choose a good and effective skin care cream that can help fight these signs of aging.

Here is a list of ingredients that one should look while selecting a good skin care product.

Avocado Oil
It’s a natural substance that increases the collagen content in the skin. It helps moisturizing the skin deeply and is highly nutritious also. It nourishes the skin with vitamins A, D and E and many essential proteins. Cynergy TK: It’s an active keratin that has been proven to stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin.

Substances like CoenzymeQ10 and Phytessence Wakame are potent antioxidants that fight the free radicals and help in avoiding fine lines and wrinkles. With this information in hand I am sure that you will be able to select the best skin care cream available in the market and reverse the aging clock of your skin.

How To Exercise Your Memory

In a report by the Daily Telegraph, performing a mental exercise twice a day could help delay the rapid memory loss associated with dementia for more than a year, It said that a study of nearly 500 people aged 75 to 85 years looked at how often they did crosswords or puzzles, or just read, wrote or played card games. Of those who developed dementia, people who did 11 mental exercises a week developed memory problems about a year and four months later on average than those who did four exercises a week This study suggests that elderly people who will go on to develop dementia may delay their onset of rapid mental decline by taking part in mentally stimulating activities. However, the age at which people were diagnosed with dementia was not affected

The study has some limitations, including the fact that it was a relatively small study and only measured participation in the activities at one point in time. Although by itself, this study does not prove that increased mental activity reduces risk of dementia, keeping mentally and physically active is probably beneficial for people of all ages. Where did the story come from? The research was carried out by Dr Charles B Hall and colleagues from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and other research centers in New York.

The study was funded by the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. It was published in the peer-reviewed medical journal Neurology. Most people assume that to exercise the brain or memory means you have to be strapped in a chair, hook up with electrodes and look at a flashing screen, Most mental exercises are leisure activities like doing word puzzles, playing poker or bridge with family and close friends, playing scrabble or mahjong, reading a novel or thinking of creative ways to solve problems.

You can also exercise your memory by remembering your grocery lists or errands instead of using a paper and pen. You can also use a memory tool to help you get more out of your brain. Staying mentally active is a choice and a mindset. Make it a habit to be mindfully aware of everyday things like, for instance where you put your car keys or wallet. Always have a mental conversation in your head to remind yourself to stay focus and alert in whatever tasks you do, be it cooking a meal or balancing the checkbook.

I have a friend in her 90s who is still mentally sharp. She still does volunteer work in old folks home. Focusing on others instead of yourself will also strengthen your mental outlook in life. And don’t forget to get plenty of exercise. Get up early to go for walks in the park, or go for a run or a swim. Whatever that is convenient for you. You don’t have to join an expensive gym to keep that ticker in shape. Rigorous physical movement brings oxygen to the brain. Exercising your mind, memory, body and soul will help you stay physically and mentally sharp for a long, long time.

Antioxidant Herbs

Dietary Antioxidants
Dietary antioxidants are thought to be beneficial because they slow the chemical process of oxidation, which causes issues such as cholesterol deposits and narrowing of the arteries that can end up in various heart related issues. Diets heavy in fast foods are low in antioxidants and can be high in free radicals.

Fruits and plants contain many various antioxidant nutrients. A few of them, like onions, have many different antioxidant compounds all on their own, lots of which have never been identified or isolated. Fruits, vegetables and many plant based foods are awesome sources of these antioxidants, which include vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene the family mate of our own vitamin An and another things like carotenoids.

Nuts and seeds are all high in healthy fatty acids and are high in antioxidants too. Things such as flaxseed, buckwheat, nettle, pecans and walnuts are superb for you and have great antioxidant qualities. Nutrients that work as antioxidants include vitamin E, vitamin C, zinc, selenium and carotenoids. The prime source of antioxidant rich foods is the brightly coloured types of vegetables and fruit, and you must include a full spectrum in your daily diet. Nutrition mavens agree,'more matters' when it comes to eating fruit and veg. In fact, nutrition experts are learning a sensible diet loaded in colorful fruits and veggies may help with weight management and may even reduce the risk of some cancers, diabetes and other diseases.

Tumeric Antioxidant
Tumeric is a natural antioxidant, and thus protects the body from oxidative damage. Lab studies have revealed that turmeric can repress the development of cataracts, breast cancer, colon cancer, and lymphoma. In one study, smokers that took just one small spoon of tumeric a day for thirty days had lower levels of cancer causing mutagens. Tumeric is warming and analgesic for rheumatism and any agonizing,'cold' joint condition. It's also a superb digestive aid, and reduces excess fluid.

Garlic Antioxidant
Measurements of total serum antioxidants were taken from diabetic and hypertensive rats before and after having been treated with garlic. The analysts discovered that the serum levels of antioxidants had increased significantly in both groups of rats just three weeks after treatment. Measurements of nitric oxide levels after garlic administration showed a two fold increase, relative to pill, while administration of both garlic and vitamin C led to a three fold increase, relative to the control.

Astragalus Antioxidant
Astragalus is an herbal tonic or food with over two thousand years of safe use history. It contains a wide variety of both standard (amino acids, minerals, etc.) and none conventional (flavonoids, polysaccharides, triterpene glycosides, sterols, and so on) nutrients. Astragalus is recommended as a tonic for the elderly. It protects cells from getting older and may lessen other negative effects of aging. Astragalus is generally considered to be an immune boosting herb because of its kick of the immune mechanism. It is one of the herbs which has been shown to scale back the complications of chemotherapy.

Blueberries Antioxidant
Blueberries are high in anti oxidants and are also considered to be beneficial in improving memory function and healthy aging. Blueberries are high in dietary fiber, Vitamin An and niacin. They contain iron and other trace minerals and are a fair source of Vitamin C. Blueberries are an important source of flavonoids, in particular anthocyanins and flavanols. Though Blueberries are among a small number of foods that contain measurable amounts of oxalates, naturally occurring substances found in plants, animals, and human beings.

What are Hemorrhoids?

What do hemorrhoids come from? Well the lining of the anus contains three soft, spongy tissue pads that prevent faeces from passing out until you go the toilet. The lining of the gut is inside the anus is very slimy so that stools can pass out easily. However these soft pads contain a network of tiny blood vessels which is where piles begin to occur.

When do hemorrhoids occur? Piles occur when one of the soft tissue pads has slipped downwards slightly, due to the surrounding tissue not holding it in place properly. When this occurs, the tiny blood vessels within the cushion become engorged with blood, swelling up. Then when stools are passed, the pile is pushed further down the anus, even to the outside this is called a prolapsed pile. However there are three types of piles. First degree piles are swollen cushions that always remain within in the anus and these are often painless. Second degree piles are pushed down e.g. prolapsed, when stools are passed, but return to their original position. This results in temporary discomfort when passing a stool.

Third degree piles are ones that when pushed down remain prolapsed when stools are passed, however they do not go back by themselves after the stool has been passed. Who gets piles? Piles can occur to anyone at any age at any age (trust me on that one!). However they are more common in older people afflicting both men and women. Sadly most people will suffer piles at some time in life. Many occur just temporarily, but others will suffer for prolonged periods, which is not nice. Mostly the affect older people and those in pregnancy. Piles can also result from straining hard to pass stools when constipated which is more likely due to you diet.

What is Right For Your Balding Head

If you are losing your hair and nothing else that you try ever seems to work, what you need is hair replacement. This is a surgical procedure that does just that it replaces your hair by transplantation. As a matter of fact, people from other regions prefer to call it just that hair transplantation. When considering hair replacement surgery, you cannot be too careful. Already you do not need to have it done by a half baked operating surgeon who cares more about the next meal than about learning that they do a good job.

And so you can do quite a bit of work looking around until you find the right operating surgeon with the right touch, and the right experience. Due diligence is totally in order when looking for somebody to help out with a hair replacement surgery. This is one thing that you cannot be too trivial with, considering that it is dealing with something you are rather sensitive about, your hair.

When you have some hairs left on the top of your head, with a lot more at the back of your head, you are what I call a very lucky individual. You see, good as hair replacement surgery is, every operation has their strong and weak points. With this new operation, the limitation is other hairs. When there aren't those to work with, the surgery will not be possible. Doctors need hairs on other sections of your body to use. The ratio of the fullness of your hair to that of the hair that is required goes a long way to help determine how your hair replacement operation would be carried out.

Admittedly, this is a hard concept to reach, but it is just as well that you have access to the internet. You can research online for sharper definitions, or better still, you can speak with a operating surgeon about it. You know all of those operations in which they put a tube in your mouth and pump in some gas to knock you out cold while someone else helps you to breathe with a pumping machine? Sure you do. But hair replacement surgery is a lot different than that. In this operation they can carry out the operation while you are wide awake!

Its called a local anesthesia the type that puts part of your body to slumber whereas the rest of you is awake. You can always allow yourself to relax when you think about surgical procedures. It is held that a lot of people have lost their lives during operations, especially with sloppy and less than qualified surgeons. However hair replacement is supervised such that you can have your eyeballs wide open while it goes on, and if something spooks you, you can speak up right away.

Giving Full Protection to Your Skin

While your skin gives protection to your body, you must also give full protection to your skin to retain your beauty despite of too much heat, pollution and dirt that may destroy it. So the following are steps on how to protect your skin.

Protection from the Sun
Too much heat from the sun will often lead to skin dryness, early skin aging and the manifestation of the dark spots. Since these factors affect the skin physically, your skin also needs physical protections. Here are some useful tips in choosing and using sunscreen lotions.

  • Look for sunscreens with UVA and UVB protection capability.
  • The Sun Protection Factor (SPF) is very important in choosing the right sunscreen lotions for your skin. For sensitive skin, choose lotions with SPF 20 and or above.
  • Your skin takes time to absorb the applied sunscreen lotions to your skin. Therefore, apply the sunscreen 30 minutes before exposure to the sun.
  • Be reminded that UV radiation from the sun increases when reflected in the surface of water or snow you must bring with you your sunscreen all the time.
  • Should you stay under the sun longer than expected, reapply sunscreen.
Protection from Pollution
Wherever you go, air pollution comes with you which will cause damages to your skin. But don’t worry, there are so many things you can do to. To protect your skin from pollutants, follow these simple steps :
  • Always wash your face whenever you arrive home with water and soap or a good face wash to generally remove accumulated dirt on your skin.
  • If you stay outdoor for a long time, use mild cleanser to remove dirt.
  • Using foundation or moisturizer will also help in protecting your skin as they serve as protective layers.
How to eliminate wrinkles?
Obviously, wrinkles are the signs of aging; they may be normal but remember that when the skin starts to age, you can never bring it back to its youthful state. So, if you think you are too young to develop wrinkles on your face, follow the steps below and maintain your younger looking skin :
  • Eat plenty of oranges and lemons while you’re still young as they are the best source L-Ascorbic Acid, the kind of Vitamin C used to prevent skin aging. You may also take Vitamin C supplements as alternatives.
  • While there are so few facial gels and creams which contain L-Ascorbic Acid, you need to look for them. You may use Dermalogica Multi Vitamin Power Firm as it contains Vitamin A, C & E. Beware of imitations and fake products.
  • As the skin starts to age, bringing it back to a younger looking skin is almost impossible. Although, it cannot be stopped, but it can be slowed down. You may purchase Dermalogica AGE smart Starter Kit to help you slow down your skin aging.
There are other factors that can damage your skin. But the three mentioned above are the most common factor and perhaps the fastest in destroying the beauty of your skin.

Types Of High Blood Medications

If you have high blood pressure, you should see your doctor once in a while to know the proper medications for you. High blood pressure medications depend on the patients. Do not take medications which are not prescribed by your doctor. It is better if you seek the help of them to understand your condition. It is important to talk to your doctor about the high blood pressure medications and the desired or side effects of these drugs.

This is the reason why your doctor might take a blood test in order to assure that there will be no effects on your potassium levels.

It lowers the blood pressure by taking away the excess fluids and sodium through the process of urination. This medication is not usually for patients with diabetes because it can increase the blood sugar level. Or if this medication should be given to diabetic patients, there are some factors to correct this. Example is a change in diet or anti diabetic dosage. Since this type of high blood pressure medications can decrease your potassium, you should eat foods which are rich in potassium to prevent the loss of this mineral in your body. You can also take some tablet form drugs to increase the potassium. The side effects of this are: decrease in potassium level, leg cramps and fatigue.

Beta blockers
It decreases the heart rate and cardiac output as well to lower the blood pressure. This medication when given to patients with diabetes may not show the warning signs of low blood sugar. This is the reason why you should check your blood sugar levels immediately after taking this high blood pressure medication. If in case you have low blood sugar level your doctor will change the dosage of your medicine for diabetes. The side effects of this are: fatigue, depression, insomnia, slow heartbeat and some symptoms of asthma.

Calcium channel blockers
It is also called as calcium antagonist. This medication will stop the flow of calcium into the cell vessels and heart. The side effects are: headache, constipation, nausea and rash.
